• VN-Index opened and the sell-down volume showed up which gradually narrowed down the market.
• The Financial Services and Construction & Materials sectors weighed down the whole market.
• The buying force joined in in the afternoon but it was insignificant. The seller took over at the end and kept the Index below the reference mark.
• Most of the sectors were negative, while the sectors that increased were not substantial.
• The market breadth included 159 increasing, 296 decreasing, and 83 unchanged stocks.
• Liquidity decreased by 11.2% to VND 23.2 trillion.

VN-30 was also stagnant (VN-30 -0.48%)

• The basket had 7 gainers, 22 decliners, and 1 unchanged stock.
• VIB (+1.44%) was the only stock to increase more than 1% in the basket
• On the other hand, MSN (-2.37%), SHB (-1.72%), and SSI (-1.66%) were the most decreasing stocks.

Sectors and stocks daily highlights

• MBS (-1.62%) announced the 2024 Annual Meeting report with the approval of the 2024 business plan with revenue and profit before tax target of VND 2,786 billion (+52.6% YoY) and VND 930 billion (+29.9% YoY), respectively. In addition, shareholders also approved the plan to pay a 12% dividend in cash for the year 2023.
• DGW (+0.46%) revealed the documents for the 2024 Annual General Meeting with a business plan of revenue and profit after tax increase 22% YoY and 38% YoY, respectively. The firm also plans to pay a 5% dividend in cash and a 30% dividend in shares (100:30) from the undistributed earning sources for the year 2023.
• Foreign investors continued to record a net selling value of VND 793 billion. MWG (+0.20%) was the most net-bought stock with more than VND 100 billion. In contrast, MSN (-2.37%), VND (-1.08%), and VHM (-1.04%) had the most net selling value.
