• VN-Index opened today’s trading lower than yesterday’s close.

• HDB (+4.89%) held its 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders today, setting a pre-tax profit target of VND15.852 trillion (+21.8% over 2023 actual) for its 2024 business plan. The dividend payout ratio for 2024 is planned to be 30%.
• VIC (+5.83%) announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024. Consolidated sales were VND21.739 trillion (-44% YoY) and after-tax profit was VND1.335 trillion (+126% YoY).
• Foreign investors turned to net buy VND110 billion, with MWG (+2.04%) notable for net bought, while FUEVFVND (+2.50%) was notable for net sold.
